Wells Cathedral

Wells Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral in England, dedicated to St Andrew the Apostle. Built in 1176–1450 to replace an earlier
church on the site since 705. Its Gothic architecture is mostly in Early English style of the late 12th – early 13th centuries. It is a Grade I listed building, it has been called "unquestionably one of the most beautiful" and "most poetic" of English Cathedrals.

Wells is located in Somerset, England, it’s a beautiful Cathedral city (town sized). The Cathedral is stunning and they recommend a donation of £5 per person to enter. It is very beautiful with lovely architecture and windows. There is also a nice small café and gift shop. I would say its worth a visit but only if you’re in the area. I would say that wells make a good daytrip. So, visiting here makes more sense as a daytrip than a pilgrimage.
