Bath Abbey

Bath Abbey is a parish church of the Church of England and former Catholic Benedictine monastery in Bath, England. Founded in the 7th century, it was reorganised in the 10th century and rebuilt in the 12th and 16th centuries. The Benedictine community was dissolved in 1539 during the Dissolution of the Monasteries. During the 19th to 21st century major works to clean and upgrade and enhance the abbey has been done. The abbey is a Grade I listed building and can seat 1200. It is currently undergoing major works on its floor to install a new heating system. Bath is a very unique small city it is incredibly beautiful and worth visiting, there are multiple tourist attractions including the roman baths. The Abbey is pleasant enough however its very much just a tourist attraction now. You can go in for free if you wish. Which is a positive. However, the Abbey lacks soul sadly.
